Scores again in win Allen totaled 11 carries for 86 yards and one touchdown and caught 4 of 5 targets for 22 yards during Saturday's 28-13 win over Wisconsin.

Impact Allen logged a rushing touchdown for the fourth game in a row despite logging fewer carries than any other game during this stretch. The junior running back salted away this win with a 24-yard scamper late in the fourth quarter. Allen still logged fewer carries than fellow running back Nicholas Singleton (12), as the latter has typically been the slight favorite out of the backfield when both are healthy. Through four Big Ten games, Allen has averaged 16.5 rushing attempts for 80.5 yards. Starting quarterback Drew Allar was also ruled out with a leg injury suffered just before the end of the first half, and the Nittany Lions seemed to employ more of a ground-and-pound offensive gameplan with Beau Pribula in at quarterback for the entire second half. Allen and Singleton may have to shoulder bigger workloads if Allar is sidelined for next week's marquee matchup versus No. 4 Ohio State.

Leads rushing attack Week 7 Allen notched 16 carries for 56 yards and one touchdown and hauled in their only target for nine yards during Saturday's 33-30 overtime win versus USC.

Impact Allen logged at least 16 carries and scored a rushing touchdown for the third game in a row. The 220-pound junior logged a one-yard rushing score in the first quarter, and he once again logged a team-high in carries despite the return of star running back Nicholas Singleton, who logged 11 rushing attempts after missing last week's win with an illness. The Nittany Lions has been far from perfect still this season, but Allen has still been a consitent piece for new offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki with 90 carries for 423 rushing yards through six games. His next chance to keep toting the rock will come in another road game versus Wisconsin on Saturday, Oct. 26.

Logs 21 carries with Singleton out Allen notched 21 rushes for 78 yards and one touchdown and hauled in 1 of 2 targets for one yard during Saturday's 27-11 victory over UCLA.

Impact Allen stepped up into a bigger role with fellow junior and star running back Nicholas Singlton sidelined by a last-minute illness Saturday. The 5-foot-11 junior finished with a season-high in carries, and he logged just his second rushing touchdown of the season when he scored form one yard out late in the third quarter. Allen averaged 13.3 carries over the first four games of the season, and he's likely to see closer to this many attempts with Singleton expected to return to action next week at USC.

Logs his first TD of the year Allen accrued 18 carries for 102 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 21-7 win against Illinois.

Impact Allen found the end zone for the first time this season with a five-yard score late in the fourth quarter. This capped off his most productive performance of the year, as he also logged season-highs in carries and rushing yards. He also tallied more rushing attempts than dynamic running back Nicholas Singleton, who rushed 16 times for 94 yards and a touchdown of his own. Singleton has looked like the better running back so far this season, though Allen continues to split carries with him. This could be a productive 1-2 duo so long as the Nittany Lions employ a run-heavy game plan, as quarterback Drew Allar attempted just 21 passes compared to 43 team rushing attempts. Allen should remain a significant part of the ground game this coming Saturday's home game against UCLA.

Tallies 66 yards in win Allen compiled 11 carries for 66 yards and failed to catch his lone target during Saturday's 56-0 win over Kent State.

Impact Allen once again split duties out of the backfield with fellow junior Nicholas Singleton, who logged 11 rushes for 81 yards. However, the latter running back also caught two passes, including a 17-yard touchdown on a simple dump-off pass from tight end Tyler Warren in the second quarter. Allen has been a consistent piece under new offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki. Yet, he's still not getting an even share of the touchdown opportunities, having scored just once on a 20-yard reception Week 1. Unless he gets more involved as a scorer, Allen's going to be more boom-or-bust than surefire starter for fantasy owners.

Eclipses 100 yards on the ground Allen notched 14 rushes for 101 yards and did not catch his lone target during Saturday's 34-27 win versus Bowling Green.

Impact Allen logged double-digit carries for the second game in a row. After gaining just 20 yards against West Virginia last week, the junior running back found much more success as the Nittany Lions made an explosive comeback during the second half against Bowling Green. Allen has continued to split carries with another highly-talented running back, Nicholas Singleton, who tallied 13 carries for 119 yards and touchdown Week 2. While neither is likely to get a big workload this season, Allar and Singleton could stand to be one of the most productive duos in college football if Penn State's offense can look more like explosive unit that took the field Week 1. Their next opportunity to break out will come versus Kent State on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Impact Allen was held in check during this weather-delayed season opener for the Nittany Lions. He still logged just one more carry than fellow junior running back Nicholas Singlton; although, the latter broke free for two 40-yard rushes including a touchdown. Allen got on the scoreboard himself when he caught a pass over the middle before turning upfield for a 20-yard touchdown, marking just the third receiving touchdown of his career. After splitting a healthy rushing workload with Singleton over the past two seasons, it's likely that they'll strike a similar balance once again this year. However, with new offensive coordinator Andy Kotelnicki in town, it seems like both players could be in store for better production then compared to last year's offsense, which significantly lacked explosiveness both on the ground and through the air.

Scores two TDs in win Allen tallied 16 carries for 69 yards and two touchdowns and gathered in his lone target for six yards during Saturday's 27-6 victory versus Rutgers.

Impact Allen burrowed into the endzone for two short-yardage scores, including a two-yard run in the second quarter followed by another three-yard run early in the fourth quarter. The 222-pound back still continued to split carries with fellow highly-talented sophomore Nicholas Singleton (11 carries, 61 yards). However, Allen has been the Nittany Lions' more physical, and arguably best, running back this season. This has particularly borne out over the last four games, as Allen has totaled 60 carries for 313 yards and three rushing scores over that span. He'll look to maintain a slight pole position in this running back duo during Friday's regular-season finale against Michigan State.

Impact Allen was the only member of Penn State's offense to find any consistent success against Michigan's defense. The 222-pound Allen once again split carries with fellow sophomore Nicholas Singleton (13); though, the former still finished as the team's leading rusher, as he set the tone with his physical and aggressive rushing style. Allen has averaged 5.1 yards per carry across the last four games, and he's been significantly more effective than Singleton over this span. These two will still likely split carries across the final two games of the regular season.
