Impact Preston made his season debut for the Green Wave after missing a significant portion of the offseason, and the start of the season, with a hamstring injury. The 6-foot sophomore, who transferred in from Alabama this offseason, has yet to record a catch at the collegiate level. Preston is likely to become a higher priority option in Tulane's passing attack, but it may take a few weeks to get the young wideout fully integrated into the offense.

Impact Williams had a solid day Thursday as he tied a season high with six catches and was targeted eight times for the fourth time this season. While he remains the No. 1 option in the passing game, the Green Wave's low passing volume gives him a low floor every week even though he's capable of putting up performances like he did Thursday.

Impact Bauman was previously thought to be questionable for Saturday's game after missing last week's matchup against Rice with an undisclosed injury, but the junior tight end was able to suit up against the Mean Green. Bauman capitalized on his return to action, finding the end zone on a 14-yard pass from quarterback Darian Mensah in the third quarter, extending Tulane's lead to 20 points at the time. His next opportunity will come against Charlotte this coming Thursday.

Yulkeith Brown - Scores twice Saturday Brown reeled in his only target for 30 yards and one touchdown and scored an 11-yard rushing touchdown during Saturday's 45-37 win against North Texas.
Impact Brown had just two touches in Saturday's win, however he took both of them in for touchdowns. He caught a 30-yard touchdown in the first quarter, then scored an 11-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter and converted the two-point conversion following that score. It marked the second time in his last three games he has scored multiple touchdowns. Although he is capable of making big plays like he did on Saturday, the lack of volume in Tulane's passing offense hurts his overall upside.

Dontae Fleming - 92 yards in win Fleming reeled in 3 of 4 targets for 92 yards during Saturday's 45-37 victory against North Texas.
Impact Fleming caught just three passes Saturday, but he gained 92 yards which gave him a solid overall performance. It was his third game this season with over 90 yards. While he has shown that he is capable of these performances, the Green Wave's lack of volume in the passing game is still a concern for him.

Makhi Hughes - Dominates in win over UNT Hughes had 30 carries for 195 yards and one touchdown and caught their only target for eight yards during Saturday's 45-37 win against North Texas.
Impact Hughes was excellent in Saturday's win as he set season highs with 30 carries and 195 yards and scored his 10th touchdown of the season, eight of which have come in his last five games. Hughes once again proved to be the focal point of the Green Wave's offense and there is no sign of that changing any time soon. He faces another favorable matchup at Charlotte next Saturday.

Darian Mensah - Tosses three TDs Saturday Mensah was 10-for-13 passing for 175 yards, three touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 45-37 win over North Texas.
Impact Mensah had a solid outing Saturday, especially given he only attempted 13 passes. He tossed three touchdowns for the second time this season, however he also threw his third interception of the campaign. It was an efficient day for him, but the fact that the Green Wave ran the ball 47 times out of 60 offensive plays is a bad sign for Mensah. The Green Wave have larger aspirations than Mensah putting up big numbers, so he will likely not be the best option moving forward given how run-heavy the offense is.
